Brittany completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University (2011). During her undergraduate studies, Brittany volunteered her time both in a rehabilitation setting as well as on the field providing medical coverage assistance for the McMaster Marauders Football Team where she was able to enhance her knowledge in Emergency Medical Care, supportive taping techniques and assisted with the ongoing treatment process of acute injuries.
Brittany has both clinical and field experience working with various levels of hockey, football, rugby, basketball, volleyball and soccer ranging from minor, high school, senior, OCAA, varsity and professional level athletes.
Brittany has continued to develop her skills with continuing education courses in Soft Tissue Release, Kinesio Taping and Exercise Prescription. She recently completed her studies in Osteopathy at the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy (DOMP), gaining knowledge in cranial and visceral Osteopathy, Spinal Dysfunction and Soft Tissue Manipulation. She completed her osteopathic thesis on Post-Concussion Disorder and looks forward to furthering her knowledge and expertise in this area. Brittany is eager to bring an osteopathic approach to the Sports Medicine Experts Team.
