Dr. Patrick Galange was born and raised in Oakville Ontario. He acquired his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry & Genetics at Western University, achieving the gold medal in his program. He then completed his Medical Degree at the University of Ottawa and his Family Medicine Residency at McMaster University in 2017 where he served as chief resident. Following his medical training, Dr. Galange sought to round off his education by attaining his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School in London Ontario, with a focus on healthcare.
His passion is to pursue both patient care and participate in the ongoing evolution of an overall more effective and responsive healthcare system. His clinical interests are wide and encompass student health, comprehensive family practice, care of the elderly, telemedicine and surgical assist. He is a volunteer advisor for MaRS, where he works with new start-ups in the Canadian healthcare space. Furthermore, he plans to mentor medical learners who are very early in their careers, sharing his passion for primary care delivery. Dr. Galange advocates a balanced lifestyle and a preventative approach for both his patients and himself. Home for him is Hamilton Ontario, where he leads an active lifestyle, which includes travel, skiing, fitness as well as music and theatre.
