Registered Physiotherapist & Certified Pedorthist

Stan attended the University of Waterloo and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He then continued onto the University of Toronto to receive his Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.

Upon graduation in 1982, Stan began to practice physiotherapy at McMaster Medical Centre. He continued to work at several out-patient clinics in the Hamilton area until he decided to open his own practice in 1989. Stan successfully co-owned and operated Park Physical Therapy for 12 years. Following that endeavour, Stan worked with LifeMark Health in private practice treating outpatient orthopaedics, initially as the Clinic Director, followed by a more practical physiotherapy role.

Stan has attended many continuing education courses after becoming a member of the College of Physiotherapy. He has completed the initial Manipulative Therapy courses and many other manual courses through the years. Recently he has attained his Certificate in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario in 2010.

Over the years Stan has spent numerous hours volunteering his services, providing medical coverage for sports team including basketball, soccer, football and hockey. This interest eventually culminated into him working professionally in the Canadian Soccer League. Stan continues to be an avid sports enthusiast and fan.

In the clinic, Stan focuses his attention on Sports Medicine and active rehabilitation as both a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified Pedorthist.
